AF Villa

AF Villa is a luxury private residence located in Algeria, conceived by Ammar Al Kahwahji Architecture as a refined expression of artistry, material mastery, and light. The design embodies modern elegance with timeless refinement, crafting a home where sculptural forms and tactile surfaces create a curated atmosphere of sophistication.

Project Information

AF Villa represents a “sculpted luxury” approach to contemporary residential design in Algeria, where every surface, junction, and light source is curated with architectural intent. The project emphasizes a gallery-like experience—balancing precision, warmth, and spatial drama through marble, metal, and wood.

Design Concept

The core concept—Sculpted Luxury—merges architecture and art across every spatial detail. A continuous visual narrative is formed through marble, metal, and wood, balanced with soft lighting and precise geometry. Each space evokes a composed, exhibition-like presence, turning the residence into an interior journey of craftsmanship and design sensibility.

Entrance & Stair Hall

The entrance sets the tone with green marble stairs accented by brushed gold inlays and concealed lighting. Two sculptural busts—bridging classical and modern aesthetics—rest on monolithic pedestals to underscore the dialogue between heritage and contemporaneity. A floating black steel handrail, warm wall cladding, and a cascading chandelier reinforce the villa’s refined identity.

Corridor & Material Flow

The corridor continues the narrative with bookmatched marble floors, textured wood paneling, and wave-inspired ceiling lights that suggest subtle movement. Integrated linear fixtures at ceiling–wall junctions add depth and continuity, creating a transition that feels both grounded and ethereal.

Guest Bathroom

An intimate showcase of opulence: gray marble meets dramatic red onyx framed in warm brass. A sculptural fluted-marble vanity with bronze detailing anchors the space, complemented by artistic lighting and curated accessories—achieving a sanctuary where art and function coexist.
